French Electrical wired this Flat Bush new home, designed by Kim Veltman Architecture and built by Aegean Homes. The main house has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen, two living areas and a home theatre, with a separate pool house.
The house is automated on Clipsal C-Bus, which controls lighting throughout. Alongside the automation we wired the home theatre, the pool house, an automatic gate and intercom, and feature lighting through the landscaping.
C-Bus is a wired automation system rather than a wireless one, which means the control layer has to be planned and cabled at prewire stage. It is not something that can be retrofitted cheaply, and it is one of the reasons builders bring us in early.
