Broomfields Road is the largest private home French Electrical currently has on the books, and the work is still going. The house runs to roughly 2,000 square metres across ten bedrooms and ensuites, two kitchens, seven family lounges, a media room, a games room, a self-contained two-bedroom apartment, a lift, a pump room and an eight-car garage.
The electrical scope covers the whole property rather than a single trade package. Over the past year alone our team has completed two stages of pool wiring, installed new pool and garden feature lighting, run conduit and cabling for the automatic gates, and lit the driveway.
The most recent stage is a rooftop solar array, designed and installed by our own solar team. It is one of the largest residential solar installations we have delivered.
The house is fully automated, with touch screen and remote control throughout, a PABX phone system, standby generator connection and feature lighting inside and out.
A property at this scale needs one electrical contractor who knows the whole building, rather than a series of subcontractors who each see one part of it. We have been on site continuously, which means when something needs attention there is no discovery phase.
