Solar on Our Own Roof, in East Tamaki
The solar array at 179c Harris Road is on our own workshop. We designed and installed it ourselves, on our own building.
Why We Did It First
Commercial solar is easy to sell and harder to get right. Panel layout, inverter sizing, switchboard integration and realistic generation figures all matter more than the headline kilowatt rating. Rather than learn that on a customer’s roof, we learned it on ours.
What We Monitor
We log the system’s output continuously, which means when we quote a commercial solar installation we are quoting against measured performance on an Auckland roof in Auckland conditions, not a manufacturer’s brochure figure.
