French Electrical has completed the full electrical contract on two neighbouring architectural homes on Reihana Street, Orakei, both for builder Principle Homes Ltd. The first ran from late 2019 to early 2021; the second from mid-2024 to early 2025.
Both houses were wired from the ground up. Work began with slab conduits before the pour and progressed through mains supply, underground services, and conduit runs for gates, intercom and communications.
Fit-off covered feature pendant lighting, driveway and garden lighting, security cameras, and supply and installation of the gate intercom systems. On the first property we also connected the lift plant.
Both jobs were run as contract work with variations handled as they arose — additional power points, driveway lighting, intercom upgrades. Principle Homes has come back to us across six years and multiple sites, which is the part of this we are proudest of.
