French Electrical completed the showroom lighting fit-out at Vidak’s East Tamaki premises in May 2021 — but that project is one job among nearly two hundred. We have been Vidak’s electrical contractor since 2014.
At Vidak’s own Lady Ruby Drive site we handle the full compliance programme: scheduled test and tag, emergency lighting testing and certification, and thermal imaging of the switchboards to catch loose or overheating connections before they fail. Alongside that we carry out lighting repairs, RCD fault finding, display and decorative lighting, and workspace alterations as the showroom changes.
We also work alongside Vidak on their own client projects, including office fit-out and desk installation work at NZ Blood sites on Great South Road and at Rosedale — wire ducting, cable management and the electrical package behind the furniture install.
A furniture and workspace fit-out lives or dies on the electrical being ready when the installers arrive. Vidak keeps coming back because we work to their programme, not ours.
