Our depot at 179c Harris Road, East Tamaki, is only a few minutes from Botany, so we are often working in the area. French Electrical has been in East Tamaki since 1974, long before Botany Town Centre opened, and we have worked on Botany homes since the first subdivisions went in.

Most Botany homes were built from the 1990s onwards. That makes the wiring newer than in older suburbs, but many switchboards from that period were never designed for heat pumps, induction cooktops and EV chargers running at the same time.

I received an email response within an hour and had an electrician on site by 11:30am. He, Nigel, assessed tour immediate needs and identified a major problem that needed replacing. Because of the location of the problem, Nigel needed assistance. Three electricians were now on site and they worked very efficiently to not only effect the necessary repairs, but ensured that the primary cause for the previous damage should not reoccur. The team packed up their equipment, tidied up and were on their way. A very professional team of tradesmen whom I would highly recommend.

The socket our fridge plugs into stopped working (even when we tried plugging in other things to test it) and French electrical were able to come over to check it out within a few hours of me calling. When Noah arrived  he checked everything and couldn’t find anything wrong and it had started working again. But instead of just leaving it, he double checked behind the socket cover and all the wires as well as checking the switchboard and making sure everything was working well so that I could be confident that the fridge should be OK!
