St Marys Bay is a small harbourside suburb between Ponsonby, Herne Bay and the city, close to Westhaven Marina. Its steep streets are lined with villas and cottages, many dating from the late 1800s and early 1900s, along with some modern apartments.

Homes built before the 1960s may still have rubber-insulated wiring, which goes brittle with age and can become a fire risk. We check for it before any renovation work. We rewire and upgrade switchboards in older homes, design lighting and add outdoor lighting for decks and terraced gardens. Being close to the water, exterior fittings need to be marine-grade or suitably IP-rated.
